The Plague
ELVES
The Elven Kingdoms to the East have all but fallen and refugees stream westward, fleeing the ever growing horde of the Plagued. Some have escaped with their belongings hastily lashed to ornate wagons, few of which made it through the harsh mountain passes. Those seeking refuge have come to Ev'won knowing it as a Free port, unowned by any specific King, instead run by a Merchant Lord who allows them to practice their magic and live as equals. Many Elves have forsaken their ancient traditions and accepted humans as companions in the war against the Plague, and those who do harbor resentment tend to hide it in the Free lands.

ELVENÂ MAGIC
The magic of the elves is isolated to restorative magic. Elves gain their power and abilities from the sun and are therefore unable to perform anything unless they are in daylight. For this reason, elves choose more revealing armor to absorb light and often make for a vulnerable target. Their powers are relatively useless at night. Though, due to the limitations of their power and the unlimited destruction of the plague, there are some (very few) known relics that can surpass this but it is very rare. Elves are able to cure animals, plant-life, humans, and other elves of the infection that is ravaging their world.
